Hi there!
This blog is a response to the goodness that God is and the beauty He has created around us and in us. I have been on a quest to pay attention to what is beautiful and I am amazed at what I've seen--- beautiful souls, nature, music, art, literature, and even the unpredictable weather--- treasures so rich, I can't help but come alive. But more than the physical world, God has given us treasures so great (and has more in store for us) that our finite minds has a hard time grasping--- eternal treasures that we can't even imagine. Still, we try. This blog is an attempt to do so, with the intention of having fun while in the process. Splendid in Praise having fun in ALL that God is.
Previously, I wrote in The Road Home, a blog of my journey closer to His heart. It was not an easy journey. I found myself homeless, dependent, facing storms, uncertainty and hostility. I cried, whined and get mad. But in all that, I found God, His Word and His sweet presence in my life. And oh, how much He loves me! He loves us. Enormously. And whatever or wherever we find ourselves in, whether in distress or joy, in suffering or in ease, in trials or blessings, He is with us and He is worthy of our praise. Thus, this current blog is about living a praise-filled life.
Splendid in Praise (SIP😋) invites you to "Taste and see that the Lord is good!" (Psalm 34:8) and to grow in grace and praise to the Maker and Savior who has given us life. We are admonished, "Give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
I hope you will find beauty and something praise-worthy as I share a small part of my heart with you. A heart, I pray, where God makes His home daily. So, ease up and let's enjoy our cups brimming to the rim!
